nO Canada!
Our homes on native lands!
No patriot love, political correctness does command.
With frozen hearts we despise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
nO Canada, we don't stand on guard for thee.
"God" not spoken in our land, speech is not free!
nO Canada, we don't stand on guard for thee.
nO Canada, we don't stand on guard for thee.

Brotherly Love
or just really really stupid?
Authorities say a 24-year-old Capac man broke into a gas station and called 911 on himself, telling a dispatcher he wanted to be taken to jail to spend time with his incarcerated brother.
Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm....

If life was a popularity contest
I picked a winner. Hmmm, or did she pick me? Anyways...
Labrador picked as most popular U.S. pooch
Wonder how they fared in Canada...
Now Roxy may not be able to ride a bike...

And now we know
Earlier reports were right. Now we know the details of how Shawn Hennessey and Dennis Cheeseman helped James Roszko murder 4 RCMP officers on March 3 2005 near Mayerthorpe Alberta.
Again, If these a holes don't get the max allowed for manslaughter, there truly is something wrong with our Justice system.
Oh wait.... They won't. Watch and see...

Most Canadians are doing some serious drugs!
What is he going to do, walk on water? He will be lucky to even come close to all the expectations people have of him never mind exceeding them.
Is it just me or is this 24/7 Obama love fest getting a bit much... "O" my god, please make it stop.

Memory Lane
Yes, yes I am getting old...
After doing the quick post on Bob May passing away, the strangest thing came over me. My brain went into 1960's mode and the only show my brain would let me think of was "It's about time". How frigging weird is that? The show barely made it through one season! It obviously left a lasting impression tucked away in the depths of my brain. Why I am not sure...
It was no F Troop!

I know who I believe
How about you?
Canada's polar bears are not teetering on the brink of extinction and don't need the alarmist rhetoric coming from some of the world's biologists, some Inuit experts said Friday at a one-day summit to discuss the fate of the arctic mammals.
Thank you. That will be all. You are all dismissed now. Go on, enjoy your weekend.

Unexpected twist
Both Shawn Hennessey and Dennis Cheeseman expected to plead guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter on Monday.
[...] Hennessey and Cheeseman are accused of helping James Roszko kill the four RCMP officers at his Mayerthorpe farm in March 2005 [...]
If this does indeed pan out as told by the CBC article, then these two men should get the max. No ifs ands or buts!

Somethin fishy is goin on
Fish feces may help neutralize carbon dioxide levels
The world's oceans are getting help controlling harmful acid levels from an unseemly source, according to a new study that found fish feces play a key role in neutralizing carbon dioxide in the marine environment. [...]
Which just goes to show that we humans know diddly squat about mother nature and should not be trying to predict what the climate will be like 2 days from now never mind in 40

Ricardo Montalban RIP
His death takes place in the shadow of a new life. He is not really dead if we can find a way to remember him. (right movie, wrong character... forgive me Spock)
Marooned for all eternity, in the centre of a dead planet, buried alive, buried alive...
KHAN!
or perhaps this is more memorable... "Soft Rich Corinthian leather"

Oh Noes
The UN security council is debating which nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections should be put into the strongly worded letter to be sent to Israel.
No word as to when they will sit down to write a strongly worded letter to be sent to Hamas.
