Lower and lower in the polls each day.
Do you think it is easy to make a decision?
Very reliable sources have shown me what Michael Ignatieff plans to wear to the annual Parliamentary Halloween costume party.

Seems so fitting don't you think?

Leave it to Mikey
He'll get eaten by anything.
No accounting for a bears taste. They do after all think garbage is a delicacy.

Pesky Varmants
It's beginning to feel like Groundhog Day on Parliament Hill.
Two more confidence votes are scheduled Thursday, during which the Liberals will emerge to see the shadow of their electoral prospects and scurry back underground, presaging at least six more weeks of frosty partisanship.
Are the Liberals scurrying back underground, or are they being beaten back into the holes from which they came?

Turning back the hands of time
Stephane Dion, in French tradition, waves a white flag and returns to November 2005 so that he can hand back the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada to Paul Martin. That, or his new strategy is to make Canadians feel soooooooo sorry for him, that perhaps the Liberals might get some sympathy votes if Dion ever finds enough courage to actually bring down the conservative government. Is this man not the most pathetic political leader you have ever witnessed in your life? It just gets stranger by the minute over there in Ottawa. Is there something in the water? There must be, as even Harper is not the man he use to be.

Cherniak on Politics
The truth is that I didn't pick Dion with some premonition that he was going to win. Quite the opposite, I picked him because when we met I realized that I agreed with just about everything he had to say. I really didn't expect him to win, but I decided that he was a person I would be proud to lose with.
I can't believe that I did not have to make this up.
