if I had a million dollars
Well, I'd hire me a pilot, yeah one of them real pilots, then I wouldn't have to explain, why I crashed my plane.

Miss Me?
Unlikely...
I did not miss not having the internet to waste away my time over the past couple weeks either. I had better things to do. Enjoying nothing but fresh air, sunshine, wildlife galore and most of all... FISHING! I probably averaged 9 hours a day out on the lake catching walleye, perch and the biggest Northern Pike of my life. Nothing like fighting a big fish on light tackle. I was actually fishing for and catching walleye at the time I caught this one. I was only using my medium action rod with 8 pound test line spooled on my spinning reel, a quarter ounce fuzzy grub jig with a leach. Let me say that Shimano makes a fine drag system on this reel! She almost stripped me clean of line twice and also managed to tow the boat a good 400 yards out into the depths of the lake. She measured 44 inches long, and about 17 inches in girth. I say about, as it is not easy to hold a 25 plus pound pike in one hand and try to measure it with the other. Not to mention she really was not very cooperative. Roxy my faithful fish hound was not too excited about having this beast in our little 12 foot boat either. In this case, two was company and three definitely made it a bit crowded.
Much to the dismay of many of the old timers up at Fawcett lake, once I had the measurements and a single not so good picture, I released her back into the lake to go along her merry way. I will in time have a graphite mount done of her for the cabin wall. It should look great right beside my 32 inch walleye that I caught a few years ago.
So now you know where I have been...
I don't fish for a living... I live to fish!
Oh yea... the not so good picture...
