The Truth About Weapons and Crime

If anything should be banned in this country it should be clubs and other BLUNT WEAPONS followed by knives and then possibly..... voting Liberal....

From: Saskatchewan M.P., Garry Breitkreuz

Violent crimes involving firearms result in fewer injuries (and less serious injuries) than do violent crimes involving other kinds of weapons. This pattern is the same for armed robberies and for armed assaults.

48% of assaults involving firearms result in the victims being injured, while 53% of assaults involving knives result in injuries, and 76% of assaults involving clubs or other blunt weapons result in injuries.

12% of robberies involving firearms result in a victim being injured, while 17% of robberies involving knives result in injuries, and 47% of robberies involving clubs result in injuries.

Personally I think we should just ban criminals, problem solved.

Bar none the dumbest ban yet, but I would bet a buffalo head nickle it gains them some votes....

No doubt it will as too many Canadians are so uniformed about the world around them. Mostly by choice I might add.

Yep. It lets eastern Liberal types feel self righteous about themselves. Who care's if it actually works. I've never seen a group of people so scared of inanimate objects.
