Martin Needs acting lessons

If you missed Martins latest attempt at acting in Friday nights debate. You did not miss anything. Just his normal rhetoric. But I am sure the press and his supporters will rant about how passionate he was.

Watch Martin as he saves the country from the evil separatist's from HIS country.....

From CTV:
Martin: "Mr. Duceppe, let me say to you that the Supreme Court, the Constitution of Canada and international law all make it very, very clear that you cannot have a unilateral declaration of independence. Let me say also that I am a Quebecer, and you are not going to take my country away from me with some trick, with some ambiguous question........ blah blah blah.....

You really need to see the clip, which I'm sure will be played over and over at nausium on CBC and CTV over the the next few days to see for yourself. Can we say SCRIPTED.....

Pretty much exactly what I said as well, guess I shoulda come here first. I just hope a few Liberal voters saw it that way as well, and didn't buy into it...

I watched the debate on CTV and afterwards I got so sick of hearing the word "passionate" applied to Martin's performance I thought I'd gag. David Frum was the one person who got it right when he said the little tirade against Duceppe was "PHONY".

Mr. Martin's rhetorical outburst against M. Duceppe sounds like King George III's position against the American colonists, who illegally but successfully became independent as the United States of America.

Does PMPM really want to be thought of be his countrymen as akin to King George III - or, for that matter, former Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev?

Hey! There is only room for one "king" in any country, and "King Ralph" already has that title and it fits as here rules just like a monarchy.....
