On the day before the people of Canada go to the polls, Martin continues to spew his retoric about how the evil conservatives are going to ruin this country. This man is so out of touch with reality it is simply amazing. The non issues he has brought out in a last ditch attemp to smear Mr. Harpers team and steal away victory is proof of that. Believe me Canada will continue to exsist, prosper and yes even progress under a conservative government. We might even find out where a whole lot of our money has dissappeared to and finally have some people face charges for abusing our trust. That is the liberal parties biggest fear. The truth! Something they know so little of.

Fellow Edmontonian and Canadian,
Let's not kid ourselves, there's no mainstream Canadian political party that is going to radicalise and re-shape the nation. Ultimately, the Liberals have grown arrogant from near 13 years of rule, reaping the benefits from a fragmented right and ineffective left. People know that it is a time to change things up, if only so the Liberal party can re-structure, clean itself up and provide another viable alternative, just as they did when Mulroney's rot was cleared.
I'll be voting NDP for a few reasons. Firstly, I think a strong NDP opposition (god save us if they ever came to power as the government!) is necessary to balance the conservative policies with the interests of middle and lower income Canadians. I think that the Conservatives are promising some excellent initiatives, but they do need to be reminded about certain parts of the Canadian social fabric.
Anyrood, I'm predicting (and hoping for) a Conservative majority by the minimal margin with the Liberals, Bloc and NDP making up the opposition with comperable representation....

Be glad when this is over. One direction tells us to build for the future, and implement measures for self preservation... the other means we rip this country apart... ... will know soon enough...
