I was just sick when I read that today. I saw him live 3 times, 2 in his 'blues' days and a year or two ago in St. Albert playing jazz.
An awesome talent, and seemed to be a really nice guy, too.

I never did see him live, but I was certainly a big fan. "Angel eyes" is one of the few songs I can actually play "well" on the guitar. Perhaps that is due to the fact that I play it more than any other... I was going to put up the youtube link to that song but "while my guitar gently weeps" seemed more appropriate at this time. He will be missed.
