Lance Armstrong and EPO

With the ongoing contraversy with the 7 time winner of the Tour De France... I did some research on Erythropoietin(EPO). Low and behold what do I find. "EPO is effective in the treatment of anemia in cancer patients". What a coincidence... Lance is a cancer survivor. Is it possible that Lance was being treated with EPO and did not know it was part of his cancer treatment? I would like to think that this is the explanation. No matter how this turns out, one thing is still fairly certain. Lance was tested many times over the past 6 years and nothing was ever detected in those tests. Does that mean he is "clean"? Probably, the test's done now are far more safisticated than in 1999. The year these frozen samples came from. That concludes that he was still able to win 6 times in a row clean! An absolutely amazing feet.

All this from a guy who could care less about any sport...let alone cycling... go figure...
