A Model Soldier?

Miss Israel
ZeeNews

Yael Nezri, aka, Miss Israel, enlisted in the Israeli army in October, 2006. Yael recently completed basic training and has been given permission by her commanders not to carry her assault rifle because it bruises her legs. She stated the bruises made it difficult for her to model in photo shoots.

Why in the hell did she enlist? Seems modeling is far more important to her than serving her country. Me thinks this is just a recruiting ploy. Myself, if I were an Israeli soldier, I would rather have a well armed, ugly mother f@#$er, watching my back!

Confusion.... and what would it be that you "need"?

I sure wouldn't mind covering her in a foxhole however......

Something tells me she won't ever see one Dazz. The only protection she will be needing me thinks, come in the form of latex...

Almost enough to make you think that this "women in combat" thing sounds like a good idea.

Almost...so very very close...but not quite.

She enlisted because military service for men and women is mandatory in Israel. They have to serve for 2 years.

There are exceptions though (eg those based on religion).
