More Global Warming

Extreme cold weather alert issued for Toronto:

So this will mean more people cranking up the heat to stay warm. Letting their cars idle more to stay warm. Toss a few more logs on the fire to stay warm. This damn cold weather is going to drive CO2 levels and thus global warming through the roof I tell ya.

Wait a second.... the report says...

An extreme cold weather alert was issued for Toronto on Sunday afternoon, with temperatures expected to dip to around -22C with wind chill Sunday night.

It does say EXTREME right? and minus 22 WITH the wind chill? Is this serious? Are you folks in Toronto that wimpy that a mere -22 including the wind chill is considered EXTREME? Don't ever move out west or worse north my friends, you will never survive. Hunker down right where you are at. Hopefully you will make through these EXTREME times.

They can always move to Ottawa and camp out at the Parliament buildings. There's enough hot air emanating from that edifice to keep the entire country warm during the winter.

Asper

Ottawa is the only reason why we have not slipped into another ice age... Politicians are the main contributor to global warming... These are the facts that our MSM fail to report...

So why do the rest of have to pay if it's only the center of the universe that's hot? .... never mind... it's the socialist way I guess....

On Rick Mercer last night he had that "snow in Toronto" spot. LOL. Unfortinately it is so true. The majority of Toronto drivers really are the worst, we get 2cm and it causes major traffic snafu's. The 15cm the other day and people called in a snow day. I called it day as well, not because I don't know how to drive in the snow, I just can't drive with other Toronto Drivers who can't drive in the snow. Work from home on stuff.

As for the cold alert, long-johns and extra sweater and proper winter boots. What's the problem bitch's? Seriously I have gone Quincy camping in the winter in minus 30C (no wind chill). My all time favourate activity is Ice Diving, the water clarity is amazing, problem is finding ice these days

Hell I have been on the 401 in the middle of summer and traffic was at a complete stand still for no reason other than traffic...people having picnics on the shoulder.... It was no picnic for me at the time as I was paid by the mile! Add in a bit of snow and poof... stupidity abounds... same thing happens here...we all have very short memories...OH NO SNOW!..how do I drive in this stuff again...it was all of three days ago that I had to do this.... IDIOTS!

Looking for a bit of ice...come up to the lake...three feet thick at the moment...you are more than welcome to take some back with you if you miss it that bad.... ;)
