Dear Iran

I offer you 186 reasons to release the 15 British soldiers you have in your custody. They all look similar to this one.

I should note that these are but one of the weapons that the Brits could unleash. How many of your citizens are you willing to sacrifice, while playing your silly version of Iran Roulette?

Unfortunately, they're more than willing to sacrifice a rather large number of their own citizens -- and that's what makes this so damnably frustrating. They know that western countries place a high personal value on individual lives, and that our governments are squeamish about being publicly willing to write off a small number of soldiers, especially in modern times (the psychology is a lot different now from what it was during WWII and even previous to that). That puts the armies of the western nations at a distinct disadvantage.

I am not sure how pointing out and correcting a spelling error, has anything to do with manners.??? Funny thing though, you refer to "hed" in your little school teacher rant and although I knew exactly what you meant by it, "hed" is not a word. Perhaps you should use the correct word, "header" instead!
I have now corrected my grave error and I hope that the language police will not come by to arrest me.

You protest too much. Probably embarrassment by a wannabe columnist who doesn't know how to spell one of the most common words in the blogoshere.

I am human...humans make mistakes... the difference is, I acknowledged mine and corrected it... while you come back with a snide comment about me, whom you don't know from Adam.

FYI...I want to be a "columnist" about as much as I want to be a Liberal Prime Minister of Canada. As much as I would love to see Dion out of politics, something tells me that I will not be the one to replace him.

Have a great evening...

PS... In case you did not notice... right after the line with the word you corrected, are the words...
Abundant Dulcibus Vitiis
I don't suppose you know what those words mean...
To save you some time looking it up...
It is Latin for... "Nobody is perfect"...

This seems to be happening alot. I think it's time we took alot of them nukes, and dropped alot of them on Iran.

Thanks alot for the support AB....lmao
However the nuke idea is a bit drastic and would make it tough for Bush and Haliburton to get the oil out of there... You do know it is all about the oil right? (/sarc)....

Tim, I enjoy your blog so let's not get carried away with alot/a lot. I don't know you from Adam but as a fellow Edmontonian I may know you from Eve.

"Tim, I enjoy your blog"

I'll take that as a compliment , although you are one of very few that would say that. I might remind you that you should take everything I say and post here should be taken with a grain of salt.

"I don't know you from Adam but as a fellow Edmontonian I may know you from Eve."

Would that be "the eve of destruction"?

Although this has been fun, I will call a truce...
