Back in my youth

The only guns I had were toys. The "progressives" don't like toy guns. Kids these days seldom get to have toy guns to play with. Instead they just use the real thing....

"Edmonton led with the highest rate of gun-related homicide in 2006"..... Hey! ... were number 1!!! ... coool...but I just can't see how that can be, especially when all them guns AREN'T registered... It's illegal to commit a crime with an un-registered gun..... Sheeeeesh ... some people...

Sad but true AB... Cue Jack Layton and the usual bunch of "we just don't get it" crowd... Ban(g) ban(g) ban(g)...

I bet would-be trouble makers mostly stay away from homes they know are occupied by gun owners. I know for a fact that has deterred some adverse activity at my house. :-)

I also let it be known at school that I'm a gun owner and an avid markswoman. Call it my own brand of crime prevention.

There are a lot of homes in my area that have lawn signs declaring their homes are protected by alarms.

I have two types of security signs myself. "BEWARE of DOG" and "Protected by Smith and Wesson"

They work just as good if not better than the others... not to mention I don't have to pay a monthly fee...
