Challenged by responsibility and accountability?

You are probably not a Baby Boomer or a GenX. You were probably born after 1980. Your generation is know as the Millennials...

"They've been overparented, overindulged and overprotected," she says. "They haven't experienced that much failure, frustration, pain. We were so obsessed with protecting and promoting their self-esteem that they crumble like cookies when they discover the world doesn't revolve around them. They get into the real world and they're shocked.

"You have to be very careful in how you talk to them because they take everything as criticism."

I know how Mr. Hannay feels.

That was good... My kids are Millennials, and just shake their heads at most of the kids in that generation... Most of them will have to face reality sooner or later, it's just for most... it's gonna be later..

Living in a nanny state only extends it out further....

I've seen the millenial generation be embarrassed at everything other people do too. It's sickening. I just want to ask them who told them they were all that.

ABF has great kids! It's wonderful to see young people that are so mature and responsible.

Do I sound old talking about "young" people? LOL

Kate at SDA said it best I think... When all hell breaks lose and these kids will finally have to leave their parents homes if not for anything else but to find food to eat... not a quote, but I think I captured the spirit...

I don't know how you can go to work each day and deal with these kids... I have only a few at work and they drive me absolutely bonkers.

PS...quite sucking up to AB...... :P
