Paging Al Gore once again

David Suzuki and the rest of the Church of Climatology just might want to make this one a conference call. Please explain this one and then tell me how "Global Warming" is such a dire thing that we should be jailing politicians that do not act upon it.

Lets do this Al Gore style... Roll frame one...

This is not the "hockey stick graph" by any means... more can be found HERE

Twelve-month long drop in world temperatures wipes out a century of warming

Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded. China has its coldest winter in 100 years. Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history. North America has the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile -- the list goes on and on.

No more than anecdotal evidence, to be sure. But now, that evidence has been supplanted by hard scientific fact. All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously.

A compiled list of all the sources can be seen here. The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C -- a value large enough to wipe out most of the warming recorded over the past 100 years. All in one year's time. For all four sources, it's the single fastest temperature change ever recorded, either up or down. [...]

Global Cooling is a Serious Problem
[...] It is difficult to say if mankind can stop global cooling, but it is not difficult to say what the reaction of policymakers around the world should be to this newest and real natural threat. Governments should encourage the mining of coal, the drilling for oil, increasing industrial activity, more vehicles on the highways and the introduction of heat-retaining chemical compounds in our atmosphere.

Unlike the mythical global warming, mankind’s ingenuity has given him the tools to deal with global cooling – if we act in time. Invention has often been a human response to cold and its effects. Indeed, human progress has largely been a response to the challenges of nature in general. Often – the vast majority of the time – this has been futile. Mankind cannot stop volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis. But sometimes, if we are prescient like the Medieval Dutch, we can hold back the sea and win quiet victories against our enemy, nature. Everyone PANIC! or just dress appropriately...

Don't believe or listen to loony people with political agenda's. Do your own homework. Practice common sense. Never EVER believe anything that is even remotely connected to Maurice Strong in any way shape or form!

And this concludes our lesson for the day.
