Drug Lords R US

Our government marks up medical marijuana 1,500% and it is still cheaper than what you can buy it on the streets for. I have a few questions that I would like answered...

1) How can our government justify this outrageous mark up?
2) Why has not the government and or the insurance companies taken some sort of action to get the cost of this covered under some sort of plan?
3) Why is the quality of it so bad?
4) Why are the RCMP and other police forces around the country burning literally tons of the shit each year, when they could be giving it to those who really need it?

Who really needs it in the first place? Where ever they've introduced this program, it has been a dismal failure with everybody and their dog getting access.

Talking from second hand experience only here... but a friend of mine who passed away from lung cancer was on a drug that kept him out of hospital but not out of bed. He tried going the Marijuana route on the advice of some other cancer patients he had met. The difference was night and day. When using the marijuana he was able to go to work and enjoy what was left of his life. A life that was cut way too short. As far as the numbers go... looks like there is not a huge demand here in Canada as there is less than 2000 people currently on the program. Perhaps the rules are a bit more stringent here or our doctors just are not going with it as a viable route...
