It's the end of the world as we know it

And I feel fine...

Bleakest climate report approved

We shall just toss in a bunch of...

if, could, maybe, possibly, projections, thought to be, likely, probable, chances are, computer models suggest, etc... just to cover our asses in the event that we are totally wrong.

This quote from FARK.com... seems very appropriate...

"Report offers scientists attention, bureaucrats a crisis, politicians equivocation. Oh, and it says something about global warming that will be praised and derided by the usual suspects and fail to change anybody's mind"

Praise the Gore and bash Mr. Ford...

Update: That should be Blast Al Gore and Praise Dr. William Gray

"He's one of these guys that preaches the end of the world type of things. I think he's doing a great disservice and he doesn't know what he's talking about,"

Over the past 24 years, Gray, 77, has become known as America's most reliable hurricane forecaster

Rather than global warming, Gray believes a recent uptick in strong hurricanes is part of a multi-decade trend of alternating busy and slow periods related to ocean circulation patterns. Contrary to mainstream thinking, Gray believes ocean temperatures are going to drop in the next five to 10 years.

Personally I will take the word of someone who has proven himself over the past 24 years over a hypocrite like Gore any day.
