"Lucky" as she is now aptly named, saved herself from her death sentence by simply making a gesture she was obviously taught by her previous owners. The same gesture we use daily to introduce ourselves to the people we meet.
"She shook the guy's hand, as he was gonna put her to sleep. And he put her back in the cage, which is pretty remarkable," said Andrea Galeski.
A simple gesture of friendship. Lucky could teach many of us a lesson or two me thinks...
